Visa requirements for Qatari citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of the Qatar. As of February 2018, Qatari citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 81 countries and territories, ranking the Qatari passport 61st in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley Passport Index.
Historically, Qatari citizens did not require visas to enter other member states of the GCC. Beginning 5 June 2017, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have started to implement an entry ban for Qatari citizens. However, Qatari citizens who are spouses of these countries residents are not affected, neither are dual citizens. They also had the right to take up jobs in those countries and vice versa.
